Messaging Policy
Consent, Frequency, and Opt-Out
Effective Date: June 15, 2026
Family owned in Morganville, NJ since 2020 — serving homeowners across Monmouth and Middlesex County with honest plumbing, heating, drain, water filtration, exterior cleaning, gutter cleaning, and custom window treatment work. The way we talk to you matters just as much as the work we do at the curb, so here’s exactly how our calls and texts work.
This Messaging Policy explains how Best Pro Service LLC uses phone calls and text messages to communicate with homeowners about appointments, technician arrivals, estimates, invoices, and occasional promotions — and how you control which of those messages you receive. By giving us your phone number through this website, over the phone, on a paper service ticket, or on a signed work order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This Messaging Policy applies to every text message and phone call that comes from Best Pro Service LLC — whether the call is placed by Andrew, a member of our office team, a dispatched technician, or an automated reminder sent through our scheduling platform.
Throughout this policy, the words “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Best Pro Service LLC. The words “you” and “your” refer to anyone who shares a phone number with us — a homeowner calling for an estimate, a customer with a confirmed appointment, a past customer on our follow-up list, or anyone who has opted in to receive text updates.
If you’d rather talk to a person than read the rest of this page, call our Morganville office at 732-858-3616 and we’ll walk you through anything that’s unclear.
2. Your Consent to Receive Calls and Texts
When you give us your phone number — by filling out a form on this website, by calling our dispatch desk, by handing it to a technician at your front door, or by signing an estimate or work order — you agree that we may contact you at that number by phone call, by SMS text message, or by MMS picture message about:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- “On-the-way” updates and technician arrival windows
- Service updates while a job is in progress
- Written estimates, change orders, invoices, and receipts
- Follow-up questions or photos tied to an active or completed job
- Occasional coupons, seasonal reminders, and service offers from Best Pro Service
Consent to receive promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. You can hire us for service and still opt out of every promotional message we send — see Section 4.
2.1 How You Give Consent
- Submitting a contact, quote, or coupon form on BestProToday.com
- Calling 732-858-3616 and asking us to text you confirmations or estimates
- Signing an estimate, work order, or invoice that lists your mobile number
- Replying START or YES to a text from us to re-enable messages you previously turned off
- Asking a technician to text you a photo, measurement, or follow-up note
2.2 Who Can Give Consent
Only the person who actually owns or controls the phone number should give it to us. Please don’t sign up a spouse, tenant, parent, or contractor for our text messages without their okay — and if you ever realize you received messages at a number that isn’t yours, reply STOP or call 732-858-3616 and we’ll remove it right away.
3. What Messages You Can Expect From Us
We try to keep our texts short, useful, and tied to a real reason to reach out. Here are the categories of messages we send — and what each one actually looks like.
3.1 Operational Messages
These are the texts and calls we send because there is an active job, an open estimate, or a scheduled appointment connected to your number. Examples include:
- Appointment confirmation the day you book
- Reminder text the day before service
- “On-the-way” text with a technician name and an arrival window
- Update if a technician is running late or needs to reschedule
- A written estimate, change order, or invoice link
- Photos of completed work, water-main shutoff locations, or before/after shots
- A short follow-up the day after service to make sure everything is working the way it should
Operational messages will continue while your job is open even if you’ve previously opted out of promotional texts — they’re how we keep your appointment on track.
3.2 Promotional Messages
These are the optional messages we send to share a coupon, a seasonal tune-up reminder, or a new service offer (for example, a fall heating tune-up, a spring gutter cleaning special, or a custom window treatment open house). Promotional messages always:
- Identify Best Pro Service as the sender
- Include a way to opt out (usually “Reply STOP”)
- Are sent at reasonable hours, not late at night
You can stop promotional messages without stopping the operational messages tied to a job already on the calendar.
3.3 Service Area Notes
Because we operate in Monmouth and Middlesex County, New Jersey, most of our messages are tied to local job sites and local timing — a weather call, a frozen pipe season reminder, a community-specific water filtration update. We don’t blast nationwide marketing.
4. How to Opt Out of Text Messages
You can stop receiving promotional texts from Best Pro Service at any time. There are three easy ways to do it.
4.1 Reply STOP
Reply STOP to any text message from us. After we receive your STOP reply:
- You will be removed from our promotional text list
- You may receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that you’ve opted out
- Operational messages tied to an active appointment (like an arrival window for a technician already scheduled to come out) may continue until the job is closed out
To restart messages later, reply START or YES, or call our office and ask us to put you back on the list.
4.2 Call the Office
Call 732-858-3616 during office hours and tell whoever answers the phone that you’d like to stop receiving texts. We’ll mark your number on the spot.
4.3 Email Us
Email Service@BestProToday.com from the address we have on file (or from any address — include your phone number and we’ll match it) and ask to be removed from text messaging. We’ll confirm by email or text within one business day.
4.4 What “Opted Out” Means
After you opt out:
- We stop sending you coupons, promotions, and seasonal reminders
- We can still call you about an active job if there’s a scheduling change
- We can still send an operational text tied to an appointment that’s already on the books
- If you book a brand-new job in the future, that booking counts as a new consent — you can always reply STOP again
5. HELP, STOP, and Talking to a Real Person
We want it to be just as easy to get help from us as it is to opt out.
- Reply HELP to any text message and you’ll get a short reply with our company name, our phone number, and a link to this page.
- Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of promotional messages (see Section 4).
- Call 732-858-3616 during office hours to talk to a person — Andrew or a member of the office team — about anything related to messaging, scheduling, or a job in progress.
- Email Service@BestProToday.com if you’d rather put your request in writing.
There is no menu tree, no chatbot, and no offshore call center between you and a Best Pro Service team member.
6. How Often We’ll Message You
Message frequency depends entirely on the work you’ve got going with us. There is no fixed number of messages per month. A typical pattern looks like this:
- Before a single service call: one confirmation + one reminder + one “on the way” text — usually three to four total
- During a multi-day project (for example, a heating system swap or a custom window treatment installation): a short status update each work day
- After a completed job: one follow-up to make sure everything is working, plus an invoice or receipt
- If you’ve opted into promotions: typically one to four promotional messages a month, usually tied to seasonal services or coupons
If we ever start sending more messages than feels useful, reply STOP or call the office — we’d rather be one or two messages short of helpful than one message past it.
7. Carrier Charges and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to the texts you receive from us, depending on your mobile carrier and your wireless plan. Best Pro Service does not charge a fee to send or receive text messages — but your carrier might count our texts against your plan’s message or data allowance.
If you’re not sure whether your plan covers SMS, MMS, or data, check with your wireless carrier before opting in. If carrier charges are a concern, ask us to call you instead of texting — we’re happy to confirm appointments by voice.
8. Carriers and Devices
We send text messages through standard SMS and MMS infrastructure used by major U.S. wireless carriers — including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We can text any U.S. mobile number capable of receiving SMS — flip phones, smartphones, and tablets with a phone line all work. If your phone or plan can’t receive picture messages (MMS), let us know and we’ll send photos by email instead.
9. How We Use Your Number — and How We Don’t
We send messages for the same kinds of reasons you’d expect a small, family owned home services company to call you for:
- Confirming, reminding, updating, or rescheduling service
- Sending estimates, change orders, invoices, and receipts
- Following up after a completed job
- Sharing relevant offers, coupons, and seasonal reminders for the homes and seasons we actually serve
We do not:
- Sell, rent, lend, or trade your phone number to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers
- Use your number for political messaging, fundraising, or causes unrelated to our services
- Send messages on behalf of unrelated businesses
- Use automated systems to message numbers we don’t have consent from
If you ever get a message that doesn’t feel like it fits this policy, please tell us. Reply to the message, call 732-858-3616, or email Service@BestProToday.com so we can investigate.
10. How Your Phone Number and Messages Are Handled
Your phone number, our message history with you, and the photos or notes attached to a job all live inside the same secure platforms we use to run the business — primarily Housecall Pro for scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and customer messaging. Access is limited to authorized Best Pro Service team members.
Our handling of your phone number, address, and other personal information is described in full on our Privacy Policy page. The short version: we collect what we need to do the job, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to update or delete it at any time.
We never share the contents of your text conversations with us with anyone outside the company except where required by law or by a valid legal request (see Section 11).
11. Compliance With U.S. Messaging Law
We design our messaging program to comply with the laws and industry standards that govern business text messaging in the United States, including:
- The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) — federal rules governing how businesses can call and text consumers
- CAN-SPAM — federal rules covering commercial messages
- CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices — the wireless industry’s published standards for SMS programs
- Applicable New Jersey state consumer protection law — including rules that apply because we live, work, and serve customers here
- Any other state privacy or consumer law that applies because of where you live or where the service is performed
If you believe we have contacted you in a way that violates one of these standards, please contact us immediately at 732-858-3616 or Service@BestProToday.com. We take compliance seriously and we’d rather hear about a problem right away than have you wait.
12. Updates to This Messaging Policy
We may update this Messaging Policy from time to time as our business, our scheduling platform, or applicable law changes. When we do, we’ll update the Effective Date at the top of this page. If we make a meaningful change to how we use text messaging — for example, adding a new type of message or changing how opt-out works — we’ll do our best to give you a heads-up, either through this page, in a text message, or by email. Continued use of our text messaging program after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13. Questions About a Message? Talk to a Person.
If you’ve got a question about a text we sent, a call you received, your consent, or your opt-out — the fastest way to a clean answer is to call the office. Best Pro Service is family owned, and a real person picks up the phone.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I stop receiving text messages from Best Pro Service?
Reply STOP to any text message from us. You’ll be removed from our promotional list, and you may receive a single confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out. Operational messages tied to a job that’s already on the schedule may continue until the work is closed out. You can also call 732-858-3616 or email Service@BestProToday.com to be removed.
What happens if I reply HELP?
Replying HELP to one of our texts triggers a short reply with our company name, our phone number (732-858-3616), and a link to this page. From there you can call, email, or reply with a more specific question.
How often will you text me?
It depends on what you have going with us. For a single service call, expect three to four operational texts (confirmation, reminder, on-the-way, follow-up). For an ongoing project, expect a short update each work day. If you’ve opted into promotions, expect one to four additional messages a month, usually tied to a season or a coupon.
Will I be charged for receiving your texts?
Best Pro Service doesn’t charge a fee to send or receive text messages, but your wireless carrier might — standard message and data rates apply based on your plan. If carrier charges are a concern, ask us to call you with confirmations instead.
Do you sell my phone number?
No. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your phone number to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers. Your number lives inside the platforms we use to run the business (primarily Housecall Pro) and is only accessed by authorized Best Pro Service team members. Full details are on our Privacy Policy page.
Can I get appointment updates without getting promotions?
Yes. Reply STOP to opt out of promotional texts. Operational messages tied to a real appointment — like an “on-the-way” text or a written estimate — will still come through for active jobs.
What if I gave you the wrong number, or someone signed me up by mistake?
Reply STOP to any message you received in error, or call 732-858-3616 and let us know. We’ll remove the number from our system the same day.
How do I restart messages after I’ve opted out?
Reply START or YES to any prior message from us, or call 732-858-3616 and ask us to put you back on the list.
